    How does Career Choice work?
    Through Career Choice, eligible Amazon employees can access our comprehensive catalog of educational programs and pursue studies in their field of interest. Participants attend classes part-time while continuing to work in their current role. Amazon pays for tuition and fees, up to an annual maximum. Upon program completion, graduates emerge as qualified candidates ready to pursue their chosen career path—whether that leads to new opportunities within Amazon or opens doors to roles elsewhere in their industry.
    What does it cost to hire from Career Choice?
    Nothing! We do not charge a placement fee, salary commission, training reimbursement, or place any limitations or restrictions on our employees in accepting offers from connected hiring partners. The only investment we ask of our partners is feedback on the quality and skills of the graduates hired, and a priority path to be defined in the recruitment process.
    How do I know your candidates will be strong hires?
    Career Choice is an education benefit open to tenured, early career employees in good standing from a wide range of Amazon businesses. Employees generally have at least a year of success at Amazon by the time they complete their Career Choice program and begin interviewing for other roles. We also work with internal and external partners in developing the requirements for our training programs, working backwards from the hiring requirements of the role. Finally, we are highly selective with the educational partners we work with, ensuring they are aligned with our mission of job placement and economic mobility for our employees.
    Why would Amazon pay for people to quit?
    Since the launch of Career Choice in 2012, over 250,000 Amazonians have participated in our programs. Upon graduation, they have moved on to promotions and new roles in Amazon, and started exciting new careers with external employers. We believe that everyone who comes to Amazon should be able to build their career, and we recognize that Amazon is just one place to do that.
    What career fields does Career Choice support?
    Our existing catalog offers more than 40 different career options in the fields of Mechanical & Technical Systems, Transportation and Logistics, Business Services, and Health Services. If you have a need for a high volume of candidates in a career, we would be happy to build it.

    What is needed to become a hiring partner?
    Our process begins with an exploration of:

    * Your level of openness to candidates without paid prior experience (other than Career Choice coursework) or a postsecondary degree.
    * Options available for your recruiting team to identify and prioritize Career Choice graduates in order to ensure they are not lost in the general application queue.
